Glazed Cooked Ham/Gammon

Methods for Glazing the Ham/Gannon

  1. Mix all the ingredients.
  2. Place the ham on the tray.
  3. Coat the ham with mustard.
  4. Drizzle ¼ of the glaze over the ham and place in a preheated over 190 degrees.
  5. Cook for 10 to 15 mins.
  6. Repeat the process until glaze is gone and finish in the over for a further 10 minutes.
Ingredients
  • Soak Supervalu Ham in water overnight to remove excess salt.
  • Immerse in a large pot with a clove studded onion.
  • Bring to the boil & simmer until the ham is cooked.
  • Remove cooked ham from the pot and let it rest on a tray.
  • Take rind from ham & score the fat and stud with cloves.
Instructions
  1. Jar of English Mustard
  2. 150gms of Brown Sugar
  3. Pinch of Cinnamon
  4. 150gms of Honey
